I remember this “game” well, Pete. I think I was 12 or 13, and the first time I played a pretty girl kissed me... and then three other boys the same night. I fell in love, and so did she... for about three weeks. Is it strange I still feel that rush decades later, and I haven’t seen her for decades? A rhetorical question that speaks to the truth in your poem. Another hit, Pete.. and 80s music, too.

I love reading, writing, music, nature, God and feeling emotion, not necessarily in that order. To me, these things go hand in hand. My favorite writer is Henry David Thoreau. I think he was a geni.. more..
