God is Crying

God is Crying

A Poem by Pete
"

Make the most of your regrets; never smother your sorrow, but tend and cherish it till it comes to have a separate and integral interest. To regret deeply is to live afresh. - Thoreau

Ancient willow roots search for living water as weary branches droop and weep.
Enough to make a saline sea replete and deep.
Moon ruminates in remembrance of pregnant youth.
Lacquered, ozone, finish stands the test of time covering and protecting universal truth.
Sun turns its back as another day is dying.
Sin grows wild in stygian crevices as lonely ...
... God is crying ...
