A Poem by Pete
"

God himself culminates in the present moment, and will never be more divine in the lapse of all the ages. - Thoreau

"
Image result for man walking in the desert

With empty pockets and a hungry soul.
Down but not out.
Teetering on the oh-so-tall fence of doubt.
I dismount from a high horse and open my closed eyes wide.
Like gathering redemptive bread in the desert.
I'm in.
All in.
'Til my last thankful breath ...
... and beyond ...
