My Cheroot

My Cheroot

A Poem by Pete

Image result for sexy woman smoking cheroot

Impeccably rolled at both ends.
Tall.
Smooth.
Deadly.
Slender.
In all her nicotine splender.

Kissable at one, incendiary at the other.
No filter.
Leaving a trail of ashes.
No ifs.
Just one butt.
Feeling good at the end of my hand.
Her smoke had long since become moot.
She was just my brand of...
... cheroot ...

I like the meter. Flows smoothly, almost in a hurry. Aloof, to the point if uncaring, about “cheroot” and it’s effects. Bravo!

thanks for the light cortez! ... :)
I know an old boss that would absolutely love this. Would probably frame it for his office. This is so wonderfully and cleverly written.

I'm loving what you did here, Pete...big time! The photo, the delivery...and especially the end! I even learned a new word - how fantastic is that? This poem has class. Great piece, my patriot friend! ; )
