All my life.
I lived with the curtains drawn.
It keeps the drafts out.
But leaves the house ...
... awfully dark ...

There's somewhat a sense of safety behind curtains. What can't be seen, can't be bothered. But living in the dark isn't living. God put his light in every heart. It's up to us to decide if it shines or gets snuffed out.

That's what I heard in my mind as I read this and I want to thank you for writing and posting it. It helped with a situation I've been dealing with for some time now. Brings back the old adage, 'God works in mysterious ways'. I love reading your stuff. It's like you're talking to me.
