Charity Begins Alone

Charity Begins Alone

A Poem by Pete

It's funny.
Like gathering missing honey.
I never liked myself but I expect everyone to like me.
To see what I can't see.
And be what I don't wanna be.
They say that charity begins at home.
Spread from a telling smartphone.
You can't give if you're always shackled ...
... alone ...
