Turn-Offs?

Turn-Offs?

A Poem by Pete

Image result for alarm clock in dream

I miss your smell.
All funky and warm.
Hiding under the covers.
Where our spirits first found each other.

Invading my memories like an unstoppable army.
I miss the goose down pillows and comforter.
And the hot soup in bed when I cough.
But not that damned alarm clock that just won't ..
... turn off ...
