We were just teens that awkward summer.
Caught up in an age of enlightenment.
Me, on my quick, thrusting skateboard.
You, with your slow, welcoming bike.
What was not to like?

Letting down our guards.
We found out what 'those things' were for.
Then we couldn't get enough and all we wanted was ...
