Me, with my amulets.
You, with your intentions.
Luring me with secret hair and blood-red lips.
Hypnotizing with charms.
Ruling over me with twisted, tainted talismans.
Controlling the essence of my soul.
With a seanced spirit and cloudy crystal ball.
Owning my flesh.

You stuck your pins into me.
Before I fell.
With that voodoo ...
.. that only you ...
... do ...

Author's Note

Pete
“It is surprising how many great men and women a small house will contain. I have had twenty-five or thirty souls, with their bodies, at once under my roof, and yet we often parted without being aware that we had come very near to one another.” - Thoreau

Venturing. Into the dark side with the old black
magic of voodoo..and she does it so well.
spinning a spell..controlling your soul and
owning your flesh..even the strongest of amulets
cannot ward off..intense piece..so well done
