Time was when a man knew who his friends were. Sleeping with one eye open and still able to rest assured. There used to be honor amongst thieves. Trees held fast to the creed of their fallen leaves. Men shook hands whilst they thrust knives into each others back. A treasonous but expected sneak attack. Now there isn't even that. I guess it's time to take my hat.
