"To anticipate, not the sunrise and the dawn merely, but, if possible, Nature herself! How many mornings, summer and winter, before yet any neighbor was stirring about his business, have I been about mine...So many autumn, ay, and winter days, spent outside the town, trying to hear what was in the wind, to hear and carry it express! I well-nigh sunk all my capital in it, and lost my own breath into the bargain, running in the face of it." - Thoreau

I can always count on you to have a totally fresh way of looking at most anything ordinary in life. Here you've conveyed the majesty of dawn without using any cliche or trite ideas. The word "fruition" is especially interesting, the way you use it. It's a word I thought I knew well, but I had to google it, just to ponder how you are using it here (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Sunset, the ending of each day. A time to reflect, a time for calm and a time to anticipate the morrow. Your posted image here Pete of sunrise is spectacular. Sadly I often miss the sun rising but usually see the sun setting. Both are gifts from nature. Blessings for artists and poets alike. Your lines a reminder of mother nature at her best.

This write was refreshing. It makes one want to inhale the sweet air and meditate. The slight lull from the sunset does leave lingering effects of calm and relaxation. The impending night may seem like the end though it also starts the process of the songs sung and only heard in the moonlight. This was very peaceful. Encouraged me to reflect. Great read.

I love reading, writing, music, nature, God and feeling emotion, not necessarily in that order. To me, these things go hand in hand. My favorite writer is Henry David Thoreau. I think he was a geni.. more..
