The Dance

The Dance

A Poem by Pete
"

Men profess to be lovers of music, but for the most part they give no evidence in their opinions and lives that they have heard it. - Thoreau

Have you ever heard creation's fertile song?
It plays in faith's church.
Defying sin and separation's sepulcher.
You can't help but move to it.
Go on.
Give it a chance.
Rise up and dance.
When you hear it you will know.
Blaring through rich, universal speakers.
Overflowing with glory from the almighty's cup.
As you beg ...
... please, oh please, turn it up ...

There's nothing more inspirational than nature's beautiful songs of life. The smell of autumn alone transports me to a happy place. However, there's a scene to memorize while watching trees dancing in the wind. This picture is downright wonderful. It's as if this song nature created for them is loud enough for those trees to move about. I still breathe deep, close my eyes, and smile in attempt to catch the rhythm. Simply magical. Great read.
