Stars shimmered and shone in the night sky like God's glitter.
Minions of angels glowing like an almighty, golden chalice.
Forming the aurora borealis.
All of creation applauded its master.
Tears of comfort and amazement formed a gully down my cheeks.
I stood and stared as if frozen in time.
Awaiting the next rhyme.
A tranquil sea caressed the shore.
Unlike Descartes, I feel therefore I am.
Trees swayed below to a midnight waltz.
The change from a spent day and the credit card of a new night paired together and danced a minuet on horizon's ballroom floor.
Love beckoned from the heavens and opened its door.
My chest heaved as I breathed and prayed for ...

Beautifully penned. I love the use of the night sky for anything poetic. For one who's stood there many a night observing, the silence, the beauty, the take-away is purely unique and spiritual.

This was my favorite line:
Day and night paired together and danced a minuet on horizon's dance floor.
