I'd rather converse with a tree.
Reason with the sea.
Rest myself upon a rock.
Fly with the birds in a flock.
Swept up in the wind's faithful swoon.
By the hand of truth and love from which they were hewn.
They occasionally get angry but always make amends.
Just like loyal friends.
They understand.
They know.
Constant beacons of hope like the sun's steady glow.
People are strange
but these things, their nature, ...
... they never change ...
