Even forgiveness, if weak and passive, is not true: fight is better. Forgive when you could bring legions of angels to the victory.” - Swami Vivekananda

With the grass of the meadow soft between my toes.
Only Heaven knows.
Healing salt of the sea cleansing me.
Begging an innocent plea.
Sunset hugs the horizon at dusk.
Because nothing is too much.
God offers his very tears in the rain.
Washing away life's pain.
The breeze of his breath can redeem a willing soul.
The mountains standing up in witness.
The vine of creation tethering truth.
The ebb and flow of the tide a constant reminder.
Not even the walls of Jericho can stop the march of what is ordained.
All that matters is that we have a faithful promise of love.
Flying on the wings of a dove.
From the almighty above ...

Jeff Healey was adopted as an infant. When he was almost one year old, he lost his sight to a rare cancer of the eyes. His eyes had to be surgically removed.  He began playing guitar when he was three, developing his unique style of playing the instrument flat on his lap.

To err is human,to forgive is divine- Alexander Pope.
Finding forgiveness in our hearts is easy if we realize, " God offers his very tears in the rain washing away life's pain. The breeze of his breath can redeem a willing soul". Profoundly comforting knowledge, Pete. An illuminating message.
