Who's the King Anyway?

Who's the King Anyway?

There's little more that needs be said.
Heaven's words have now left my head.
Emotions swirl but foolish fingers won't type.
Faith registers an eternal gripe.
Reason has taken a perpetual vacation.
Lucifer has formed a brand new nation.
Giving birth.
On God's green earth.
Electric keyboard clicks go nowhere.
Falling into oblivion.
The music of insanity owns me.
Sin twirls upon it's feet.
Establishing a sacrilegious beat.
Whilst wicked bongos hold a meet and greet.
Lucidity flails it's once limber limbs.
Carnal Cadillacs ride on tires worn down to the rims.
Evil's crooked smile brims.
A phony enamel covers Hell's minted gilding.
Even Elvis has left the building.
The fabric of life begins to tear and fray.
But then again,
who's the king anyway ...
