Joy.
Sorrow.
Hope for tomorrow.
Up.
Down.
Dunce cap or crown.
Wrong.
Right.
Darkness or light.
Lion.
Dove.
Push comes to shove.

Sink.
Float.
Despair or psalms in my throat.
Humble.
Proud.
Concealed by a holy shroud.
Love.
Hate.
Stacked up high like fate.
Crawling on the ground.
Soaring with wings.
Drinking for eternity at heaven's crystal springs.
These are the faces of my soul.
I wear them like a faith ...
... tote 'em pole ...

I must admit I have often been fascinated by totem poles. And Native American Culture. Great poem pete.
