Stranglehold

Stranglehold

A Poem by Pete

Image result for life's deathgrip

Dubiety reached out from behind a black curtain.
Strangling with both hands.
As final as barbed wire.
Encircling a church spire.
At the midnight hour.
Tattooed with life's ink, deep and bold.
All said and told.
A sacrilegious ...
... stranglehold...
