Reclamation

Love is all there is.
Born of truth.
Wounded by sin.
Killed by unacceptance.
Unforgiven.
Watering your bed with tears.
Counting the years.
Enduring pain.
Washed by red rain.

Love is all there is.
No stained glass and candles.
It finally comes when you least expect.
In the most unlikely and perfect way.
From the very hand of the almighty.
As only he can do.
Saving us from ourselves.
If we make it through one more day, we've won.
Purpose inevitably takes root.
Bearing the sweetest fruit ...

The sweetest fruit is love, which I believe was penned in a song that "comes from the most unexpected places"...providing my music resource of working at a record store for almost ten years serves me well. I was often told that it comes to you when you least expect it. So, the element here is that all things are inevitable. You always have an intellectual effect on me, Pete. Thanks for stirring up my psyche. And congrats to the PATS for another win, too...and the Red Sox! ; )

very blessed in reading this Pete... thank you for sharing ..the message outweighs everything else ...i wouldn't change a thing ... the language is straight forward making the splashes of "Washed by red rain." and "No stained glass and candles." all the more dramatic ..nice one ... going to try and take this one with me today ...God thoughts for sinners ;)
