Sur Chaque Rue (On Every Street)A Poem by Pete"Pursue some path, however narrow and crooked, in which you can walk with love and reverence." - ThoreauHe started out with no name. Then there was One way. No turn. Dead end. Exchange. Easy. And Main. His antics landed him on Broadway. Spending a night on Park. Not to mention the always cool but very shady Elm. He had even gone down Lanes, Avenues and Circles. He was at his strongest on Oak. His weakest on skid row. Then came Hollywood and Vine. Valley and Peak. Oh, there were warnings. Slow and Closed. Caution. Falling Rock. Even Flood Ahead. And who could forget the ever-menacing Danger. But he just kept on moving. And so it went, for the course of his life. When he finally reached the end of the road, he had lived ... ... on every street ... © 2018 PeteAuthor's Note
