Fire in the House

Fire in the House

A Poem by Pete
"

"The man who takes the liberty to live is superior to all the laws, by virtue of his relation to the lawmaker." - Thoreau

"
Image result for dwelling with god

He created us out of love.
From heaven above.
When you find him, you will know.
Which way to go.
Deep in your soul.
Your name written upon his scroll.
Floating on a cloud.
Removing the shroud.
The fire you cannot douse.
... Dwelling in his house ...

I love this uninhibited way of describing how it feels to have "fire in the house" . . . nicely original & unexpected, also with many tried & true expressions of walking the talk. My favorite line: "when you find him you will know" . . . there's nothing else to be said . . . that's why it's nice that you kept this one sorta short (for you!) *smile* Fondly, Margie

the title itself is very metaphorical... i like the way you pay tribute and praise God at the same time... the words are really something else...Your name written upon his scroll.
Floating on a cloud. like these two lines so much.. each of us has our own blueprint designed... keeps me in my toes on relying on faith in order to overcome the obstacles in life. thanks for this piece my friend
