Swipe-and-go.
Ordering takeout online.
Get-a-degree at home.
Work-from-home.
Prescriptions-by-mail.
Driverless cars.
Self-check-in.
Self-checkout.
Kiosks.
Amazon.
Drones.
Facebook.
LinkedIn.
Texting and sexting.
On demand.
Tweets between-the-sheets.
Spam and junk.
YouTube and his tube.
Her's are tied.
Automatic-this and automatic-that.

Living vicariously.
Tactless, technology terra firma.
Where does it all end?
Sucking the last bastions of humanity out of life.
Hasta la vista.
The buck stops here.
May never need to talk to anyone ever again in this cold, silent world.
It's a brave new one and things seem fine.
Just wish someone would give me the ...

that the world is changing too fast technology on the rise, there will come a time we will ask ourselves what is the purpose of our existence in this fast paced world emotions will certainly be misplaced or put aside because what is left is darwin's survival of the fittest...

Too much technology at an ever increasing pace, and less and less direct communication. We are in a fast changing world, but at what cost? If people lose that ability to be able to communicate face to face it can't be a good thing. I say all things in moderation, but not when one drowns the other out. A thought provoking read Pete which will no doubt give you a wide variety of views.

No problem Pete, take your time.
I recall the first time I saw a remote control for a TV when I was a wee lad. Since then, technology has made it more easy for people to do things. Yet, if I had the choice, I'd go back to life before the internet and digital TV. People communicated then. They did things on their feet. Times have changed and although some things are better, lots of things have made life worse. Social media is one of them.

Technology has certainly shown that people can be inhumane hasn't it. Cyberbullies, Identity theft, .. read more
Nice job describing a part of our modern existence .all these can be positive but added up are not

I think I would take out the two lines hasta la Vista and buck stops here. I don't feel they fit.
