I sold my soul to you.
On Satan's black sabbath.
A stuck pig on a spit at a caustic cookout.
Tainted with ptomaine.
Genitals turning and roasting.
Sweating like a Hell's Angel at a church social.
Thunder reverberating like a death rattle.
A cantankerous cough drop.
Born in a coven.
Sucking and spewing.
Belching and billowing.
A vicious, veracious volcano.

My heart tossed in torment.
Churlish and charred.
Bloody clouds thickened.
Booze rained down.
Pills fell like hail from the sky.
Winds of grief swirled and swept at Heaven's gate.
A molitov cocktail of mold and mildew was hurled downward.
Unplugging Lucifer's life support.
Overtaking my tethered testicles in a
tertiary,
terrestrial,
testosterone ...
... tsunami ...

Amazing journey from start to finish! Plus your artwork is stunning, too. I love all your impactful & dramatic lines EXCEPT this one: "Sweating like a w***e in church." (cliché) Usually you tweak such common phrases to make them uniquely your own. Always love the way you stretch such a message to the absolute extreme exaggeration. I was very surprised when you started getting into testicle territory toward the end (I'm a sucker for nuts) & that climax was irresistible (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

That was intense. This is a crazy poem man, I don't quite know what to say about it that hasn't already been said. Great images come to mind when you read it. Great piece, even with the testicle tsunami.

very dark i should say reminds me of witches and the coven and their ritual practices and where evil exists behind every door to one's life and it is up to the person to clean up the messes and choose the right path.
