PossibilitiesA Poem by PeteFor tears to call. So rain can fall. Shrouds are torn while curtains are drawn. Birds leave nests. Bold as the sun. Wanton waves slap the shore. Silhouettes of silent souls seeking more. Faith wrestles faintheartedness. The purpose of hallowed hearts courses through dry veins seeking eternal life. Barren sighs turn into wondrous breaths. Trees twist in winds of change. Revealing both strength and frailty simultaneously. Clouds dare to block the moon in an eternal instant. Deliverance dances on the morning dew. Leaving footprints of fate. Laughing at the day. Cheered by the tall grass. Mountains revolt and push upward to the sky. Leaves of autumn boldly change their clothes. Adorned with new colors of the rainbow. Sunset declares supremacy as it takes a crimson stage. Wielding the scepter of God. Bestowed with mysterious truth. Roses burst into bloom, defying the tyranny of thorns. Red with the blood of righteousness. Cool, blue waters cascade over towers of rock. Lost in the daring vulnerability of free fall. Once abandoned crosses are carried with the still-warm fingers of faith. Lost ships reach distant, unfathomable shores. Keys of reason always fit into lilliputian locks of love. Complicated by carnal combinations. Empty promises find their way to the scrap-heap of humanity. Destiny takes its rightful place atop the refuse of deceptive sin. True magnetic north points the way. Drawn by the loving hand of the almighty. Gauntlets are tossed down by heavenly knights. Born of innocence. Thrown into the fires of chance. Once more. Privileged, as nobilities. We step into ... ... possibilities ... © 2018 PeteFeatured Review
