PreponderanceA Poem by PeteIt can't be bought but is always for sale. Can be shared but not lent. Make your cup half empty or half full. Be spilled but not cleaned up. Build you up or tear you down. Always be trusted but tends to flee. Dangle like a thread or rescue like a rope. Sink or float. Is oftentimes there when you don't and hither when you do. Men have both died and killed for it. It can bend without breaking. Color your world or erase your hope. Be your best friend or your worst enemy. Take you soaring with clouds or crawling with worms. Can't be heard, seen or touched but always leaves a trail of evidence. We interrogate it like a witness on a stand. Asking. Who, what and where? When, why and how? A little unused is better than a lot spent for a preponderance of ... ... faith ...
