Blind Man's BluffA Poem by PeteYou thought you'd grown up. But the games stayed the same. Life like a Cat's Cradle. Upping the ante. More at stake. Not as nimble as you used to be. Jacks. Dodgeball. Duck, duck, goose. Limbo. Hot Potato. Hide-and-go-seek. Peekaboo and Red Rover. Musical Chairs and Charades. Scavenger Hunt. Marco Polo. Cops and Robbers. Doctor. I Spy. Keep Away. Ring Around the Rosie but no pocket with a posie. Ashes and you fell down. You never expected the Tug of War and the Truth or Dare. Time to stop Kicking the Can. Face the Ghost in the Graveyard. Simon Says you can't go back again, try as you may. Play with a bees nest and you will likely be stung. If you haven't figured out who "it" is by now, then Tag ... ... you're "it" ...
