'I didn't mean to take up all your sweet time.
I'll give it right back to you one of these days.
If I don't meet you no more in this world.
I'll meet you in the next one and don't be late.
Ain't no telling, baby
When you will see me again, but i pray
It will be tomorrow.
Fly on my sweet angel,
Fly on through the sky,
fly on my sweet angel,
Tomorrow I'm gonna be by your side.
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green.
And so castles made of sand, fall in the sea, eventually'.

Why'd you have to go Jimmy?
 Why'd you have to die?
'Scuse me while I kiss the sky' ...

This brings back childhood memories as my parents were big Jimi fans. Great use of his wonderful words in this well written poem. :) Julie
