The Feast

The Feast

"

A psalm to the Creator.

I ...
skip on the wings of your wind.
dance on the dharma of your dew.
slumber on your cumulus clouds.
revel in my joy from you.

I ...
bathe in your cavernous basin.
bask in your solar plexus.
ride the elevators of your mountains.
dwell in your embracing nexus.

I ...
teem in the twinkle of your light.
gaze at the vastness of your ocean.
saunter under the canopy of your forest.
take comfort in your unending devotion.

I ...
satisfy my thirst at your well.
marvel at your strength and your might.
reinforce my foundation upon your word.
rejuvenate when you gift me the night.

I ...
stand in awe of  your copious love.
take refuge under your tabernacle's gable.
rejoice at your mystical miracles.
satiate myself at your bounteous table.

I ...
savor the nectar of all your creation.
ingratiate myself to the high priest.
delight in the mercy of your gifts.
thank you for your paschal feast ...

The "Individual Self" prostrating the Higher Self. I loved the usage of the "I" for every stanza. I can take the "I" as an illusion of separation, the Ego self with the tone of total surrender and ultimately "I" am Thy. A very beautiful prayer and as always in your work Pete, it shows your thirst of love and Truth.

Pete,
"The Feast" you gave gratitude it's voice, praise, where praise is due. Nature, Love or just a touch of God's omniscient voice speaking to your soul and you could not but respond. I am so glad to of read this! So inspiring. Bless you like always.............Kathy

dearest Kathy, when our savior does things he does it in a big way - not just a snack but a feast!
This has both a biblical texture of graciousness and an enduring etymology of love( I think I using that correctly lol) It is full with emotion and love!
