FaithA Poem by PeteWavering faith, despair, questioning. Is my life a blessing or is it a curse? Perhaps I belong in the back of a hearse. Nature is truth and man is a lie. I tried to reach up and touch the sky. I cried my tears 'til there were no more. I stared at the ocean and walked by it's shore. I tried my best but it wasn't enough. In the end, life's the one of who was tough. I pleaded with God but he turned a deaf ear. The demons took over and crushed me with fear. The greatest things in life cannot be taken from you. Your beliefs and your word must always stand true. My faith was strong like steel; in God I did trust. But the hurt was too much and tears turned it to rust. I can't walk on water and I can't conquer sin. His boat's always there; I just need to climb back in . . .
