She

She makes me laugh.

She makes me feel.

She makes me want to seal the deal.

She gives me hope, on the slippery slope.

Because of her, I'm able to cope.

She touches me inside, so very deep.

Her hand in mine, I want to keep.

I dream of her and of her touch.

I care for her so very much.

 

When she is close, I am complete.

To me, she is my queen elite.

She is so dear, so very fair.

Her presence makes me gasp for air.

Her hair and eyes melt my heart.

I never want to be apart.

Because of her, great love I've felt.

My heart is hers, she makes it melt.

When she is near, my soul she lifts.

Thoughts of her are just like gifts.

She makes me want to sing and shout.

For her, I'm trapped with no way out.

The times we've had, they make me smile.

I belong to her, all the while.

When she's around, I can barely think.

To me she is the missing link.

When she speaks, the angels sing.

To her I'm drawn and want to cling.

She makes me dance, makes me rejoice.

She's won me over, I have no choice.

She is the best, she is so sweet.

With her at my side, I am complete.

She takes me up like no one can.

My legs grow weak, I can barely stand.

Her hand in mine fits like a glove.

At last I claim that I've found love.

She's won me over and sealed my fate.

She's my one and only soul mate.

In all the world, she's great and fine.

I will not rest 'til she is mine.

For all my yearning, there is no cure.

It's very simple.

I love her ...

What declaration of devotion. I surly wish the two of you continuing beauty. When I read a rhapsody like this the hope is that those involved will be selfless enough to see it through and treat one another with respect, courtesy and appreciation. Your poem is so promising!

Well Pete, this is more then sweet. I cant imagine being on the receiving end of a poem like this. The flow was great, I could really feel it move. I think the length is perfect, its hard for me at least to write long like that, and it came out sounding great. You can feel your love for her really shine through.
