nice rocking rythmn throughout... except for one spot that tripped me

"Hushing the cry"

i would maybe change to

"I hushed the cry"

othewise it is a great sort of lullaby "momma will buy you a mockingbird" type sing songy poem.

the melancholie is great but a bit sudden at the end. it was lifting and singing and being and then losing. but of course losing people IS sudden and catches us off guard.
