Just a free-verse poem about life as a kid

I was the hero

day after day,

I conquered the evils that

threatened me

I fought Darth Vader

I flew an x-wing

to destroy the battle station 

known as the DEATH STAR

I fought Sauron

His hordes of hellish

hell-spawn that threatened

to destroy Middle Earth

armed with a wizard's staff

I fought Team Rocket

Allied with my team of pokemon

That I trained and cared for

That I evolved to their strongest forms

I fought the Fire Nation

I combined my elemental powers with others

to find my people

whether or not they were there

I fought the Makuta

with my team of toa

I gathered the masks

necessary to defeat my ferocious foe

All of these adventures

All of my trials and triumphs

All of the strange places I had went to

I was saving the universe 

In my very own backyard
