Ok

Ok

A Poem by Healed but Scarred

You asked if I wanted a hug.
I said I'm fine. I'm over it
You looked at me concerned
But I shook my head and said I was ok.

But I wasn't.  I'm not ok!
My heart is bleeding. My soul is crying.
My tears have dried up, but I'm still dying.
But I shook my head and said I was ok.

It is so heart wrenching when one has to hide the pain from others and it troubles more to hide the pain from themselves. Beautifully written I loved the flow of emotions I liked how the person was repeatedly asking whether the person was okay. Very well written.
