Sweet tender lies

I tell you it’s a beautiful lie

Live by the rules of pretend

Feel the love

The guilt-free atmosphere

It’s a illusion

You know this isn’t right

What’s to lose

Reality is inescapable

You can fall into your own web of lies

Live as you wish

But when you finally open the door to the real world

You will fall flat

You will be consumed

And your lies will fall apart

 

It is best to never lie to oneself…

Reality is no illusion.
