A Poem by prometheus
"

To the boy I loved

"
I remember the first kiss.
Our first kiss, the stars, the wind the moon.
Looking over us as if it were jealous of our happiness

Your touch my my stomach jump, energy.
It gained life came like a beast over me.
I felt warm, safe.

Your arms were wrapped around me.
Your big arms. I was safe there no one could hurt me.
I was scared,
terrified.

Close your eyes you told me. trust me
I looked into your warm brown eyes.
Home

I close mine. Lips quiver, I breath shallow short breaths.
I can feek your breathing. I want you I want your lips.

Your lips touch mine. Like a cloud, it was soft
fruity. I taste the nights strawberry cheesecake

My heart stopped, the stars, the moon time
they all stopped.

But now youre gone. I dont have your arms, your smile, your kiss you eyes.
All I have now is a cheap gravestone in a crowed grave yard.

Beautifully written eulogy to love especially the first love. It is so tragic to hear how it was inspired. Thank you for sharing your art and story in poetry.
