Love will always hum

Love will always hum

A Poem by Prolific In Verse

You are your own true rival

The jealous mirror of Copernicus

To love means to run into the depths

Of the root black night

To stroke the jungle of your hair

Is to explore the state of your mind

If I were not a poet

I’d become a stargazer

And read a lot more

Than jotting verses in my notebook

The assembly of your visions

Has made it into my ecstasy

Nook and cranny, eye of a hurricane

Public squirrel of a public square

Along an unknown street

I’ll watch the sparking and burning

Of a pair of lovers who made it

Further than I ever did

And I won’t think of you

To the last heart-beat like

I might of yesterday, I’m more myself

Human and simple ready

To surge forward, ready to

Outlive who I survived myself to be.

Stargazer! Lover! Poet! Survivor!

I like this poem for its simple human truth! Only angels enjoy the light and beauty of love! People experience the dark and the bright sides! Every time I feel deep and unbearable pain of my broken heart I smile with anticipation of the next romantic adventure which will bring me back to the heaven! there is no other way to survive!
