Rage in Rhythm, About Which I have not writtenA Poem by Prolific In VersePoetry is nothing to me but love notes to the futureI do not see a future without Beggars and cripples, I am among them I do not envision a future Without orphans and lonely people God knows I am one of them! There is no posthumous balance For time’s suffering, we are what we are I hereby declare, I won’t be afraid To let my suffering show In hopeless debt, financially and emotionally It will suffice that I reach blindly Love with brass-throated horns Indebted to a ruthless universe Whose to say that I did not ask once For seething storms, hopeless years Among today’s swindlers and dealers How many times shall I be had? I do not see a future, without You in it, without the absence of finding People like me, whatever it is, that I am. © 2013 Prolific In VerseAuthor's Note
