Look at My Way of Enjoying Life

Look at My Way of Enjoying Life

A Poem by Prolific In Verse

Have you seen, the dog who licked my face?

In the crossing of the mountains of time?

The one who was dearer, more precious than anything?

Did you perceive the dirty joke, you never

Would have understood when you were young

It is my friend, a thorny crown of revolutions

That led your sinews too to God

When the whisper of pain, is everywhere?

The rebellion of panic-stricken stress

Have you seen, the child who grew up, what was his name?

I would not exchange it for anything

That split the world inside my heart

For a little life, for a little love, isn’t it?

Steeped in watered centuries, fantastic finery

Things will come to life, you said?

We hoped as much as the sun’s own molecules

We declared a bitter strike against the skies.
