We With the Same Heart

We With the Same Heart

A Poem by Prolific In Verse

My eyes are growing tears for unity’s multiplicity

Weary is my pulse for so much beauty!

This ebb and flow, and this decay

I have surveyed the fairest friends!

My trusting heart, also the weariest!

Armed with just kind words and darkness

Weary is my hope, to watch you go!

Mine ears are open pathways to this heart

The dove-wings which are these treasons forgiven

These abandonments swallowed, by gratitude

I live upon the margins of attachment

Alone and together with all the world

My pulse embodies the human beat

My eyes consume the loving-without-rest

The wilderness of tenderness that conquers grief

For all those who shalt call me by my name.
