Unlike Are We

Unlike Are We

A Poem by Prolific In Verse

In God’s universes what is this wish

For well-loved significant years?

In the absolute exclusion

Of pardoned aches, worldly decrees

That I was born a tempest for my stars

My deathweight the speaking heart

I hold inside, unlike are we, your

Destiny and mine, yours is sealed

The chief musician of self-same tragedies

Mine is an open door of digging to the

Level where we can all agree

My hands cannot touch the mountain bars

My eyes can only imagine the ruth of Divine surprise

Where I flung my shadows in silver rays

For a lullaby to tender bright eyes, brighter than thine.
