Old man!!

Old man!!

A Poem by prodicallife
"

This is a real life story people, I am trying to limit my words with the scenario i watched almost for 7 years.

"

He sits here

Tired face, searching eyes

He walks miles every day

Sitting right over here

Across the ocean his eyes swims

Above the sky his gaze flies

Beyond the world his expectations goes

Then he finally rests here once he is tiered

What does he creeps for?

Why does he sit here?

What does he wants to see?

Who does he talks to?

An old body

Full of furrow

Dusky eyes

Stretching low to rest

Weak limbs climbing up the pass way

To reach the same destination

The tiredness was not a long stretch.

The eyes got rest of long term

He was marked to the same porch

That waited for him everyday

He is dead, the old man of mystery.

And the reason still remains unfurl.

I like my Grandfather life. He worked in his garden and kept up the best lawn till he was 90 years old. He fixed broken bikes and he gave them to the neighborhood kids. He was the block Democrat. He would go door to door telling the neighbors to vote for the democrats. Many way to get old and died. Sometime we need good reasons and reasons to be alive. I saw the story in your poem. A old man died down the road. They found his body a month later. His grass was too long and rent was due. Many ways to die. If we are lucky. Not alone.

This poem was very good. The only problem is, you spelled "tiered" wrong. Great work!

It happens. Spelling is my weak side, so I get corrected on it a lot.
