Wait no more....

A poem describing a boy's emotions while waiting for his girl to talk to her...

I sat there in front of her home
Just sat there and didn't roam
Waited for her to look at me
Waited the look that would set me free

Nothing changed during my wait
Changed just calender's date...
Everyone started calling me mad
Everyone but her dad
He knew I was sad
but deep inside I wasn't so bad...

One day she opened the gate
and told her parents she had a date.
My heart froze
cold felt the Rose.
She just couldn't do this to me
My heart was locked, she was the key.

Out she came and spoke my name
she waved to me I did the same
My body went numb
I stood there dumb...

She looked like an ANGEL, a model of beauty
I wanted to say "Your admirer , reporting for duty"

She came close and scolded me
said I was a fool, and wanted to be
said I waited for days, at the shore,never just felt
to come to the door and yell
"I love you my dear with all of my heart,
I'll be with you and never depart!!"

I stood there shocked,
my mind was blocked
When I heard the words
that silenced the birds
"You are my love, you always have been,
I saw you for hours, haven't you seen?"
Then I realized it
my heart was hit
by the words of love
by a lovely dove...

In the moonlight
her face so bright,
I confessed,
came out the words of the blessed
"I love you, I always will,
I gave you my heart, my dil"

"Will you be mine?"
"Yes!!" came the reply with a shine...

The time froze
and I rose
admiring my girl
feeling the moment eternal...
