The Paradox

The Paradox

A Poem by Priscilla Sousa

I think but I don't think,
I laugh but I don't laugh,
I speak but then I'm in silence,
I appreciate but I despise.

I love but I hate.

I am a despicable lover,
stunningly horrifying,
beautifully depressed,
a spoil, gross, disgusting.

I am what I am not,
And what I am not,
Is what I am.
