YOU CHANGED

This poem deals with the pain of separation that one undergoes when a beloved person moves out of his/her life.The same person who was once the reason of laughter has now become the reason for misery.

Holding your hand I walked along

A path that seemed untravelled and alone…

Listening to your voice I survived

The trials and tribulations that existed in life

Your presence made me realize

That peace comes from within and not otherwise

Your words made me believe

That I was not just a mere being

But a person with special motives and beliefs

You made me happy when my heart wept deep inside

You held my hand when the world was not by my side

You were my life, my essence, my treasure I rejoiced.

But  suddenly….

You left my hand to leave me alone

In a world that talked to me in a language unknown

You said the words that deep inside

Broke my heart and left me fragile

You were the one who said you loved me

Then why, tell me why did you leave me?

Now, even though you are gone

But have some of your memories left with me to ponder upon

Your voice, your feel, your love..…all that now seems so unreal

These things which once gave me massive happiness and contentment

Are now causing me pain I can hardly bear

But I will erase those memories from my heart

Will fight my emotions and burn them apart

I know this suicide will take time

But its worth the gift you gave me-TEARS,GLOOMINESS AND DECLINE……
