everyday a promise i make to myself,

everyday it is left broken,
everyday a new day arrives,
but the only thing that remains unchanged, are my emotions.......
is there any answer to my dilemma,
that i can adopt to live,
as life is harsh and the world is cruel,
and this time even you are not here...
to save me,to help me,to mend my life,
'cause you are gone too far,
unaffected,undisturbed and happy in your world that has no place left for me,
leaving me alone with my broken heart,
to lament and wish for thee.
There are no answers found,there are no smiles around,
there is just gloominess and tears,
your remembrance,your voice,your words,your choice,
which left me shattered and in fear,
your words which once comforted me,
have now made me turn numb,
your voice which once gave me my chirp,
has now made me as silent as a dumb.
No questions i will ask,
no complaints i will make,
for you asked me to let you go,
to live my life, to move on despite the pain that each day i undergo.
Just one thing i wanted to know...
not a question it is or a complain my dear,
but a thought that still rings inside my mind,
that makes me cry day and night long,
and doesnt let me come alive.....
Did you not feel for once that you need me?
or at least let me be by your side?
or ask me how are you my dear?
how your day was like?
But i will live with these emotions you gave me,
cause they remind me of you,
and tell me each passing day,
that i knew someone like you.....

It was very heart-wrenching and intriguing. Try to make a structure next time, and also avoid force-ful rhyming. Sometimes, free verse becomes better work than rhymed ones :)
But the subject is very strong, and the coda of this made left an ever-lasting impact on me. It also reminded me of a song =)
