This poem I dedicate

To you whose presence makes my heart accelerate

As my inspiration you motivate

M happiness you illuminate

I knew we had to separate

Because my needs, you couldn't accommodate

Even though my feelings, you were able to emulate

The things you said, you couldn't fabricate

I wish my feelings I could communicate

I wish my love you could validate

I wish we had a relationship to celebrate

But that would only complicate

The agreement in which I agreed to participate

My feelings the agreement didn't eliminate

My feelings refuse to deteriorate

Despite the already three year wait

I never felt that loving you was a mistake

Even though this pain I can't tolerate

I understand that me in your life you can't incorporate

Regardless, you're always my number one candidate

Probably because my heart you captivate

And always cause to palpitate

My mind and body you consistently stimulate and invigorate

My feelings for you constantly accumulate and invigorate

My feelings for you constantly accumulate and elevate

No one can ever imitate or duplicate

No matter how hard they concentrate

Our love they can't lacerate or terminate

My heart no one else can confiscate

The ffort will only demonstrate

That our passion they can't cause to fluctuate

Our bond they can't penetrate

Our agreement, I'm not trying to debate or renegotiate

My pain, I'm not trying to elaborate

It's simple, I just want you to know how much I love you before its too late.

Thank you all so much for your comments, they have let me know that I have succeeded in the way that I intended the poem to be. This is one of few poems that I went into writing it with a particular style in mind. Also, as I read it again, I notice a few errors I made with typing- my apologies for that.
