Damn Thee

Damn Thee

A Poem by princessorianna

Damn thee

Am I not already damned?!

I Damn thee as i am Damned

You are not damned!

Damn thee

You cannot be!

I curse you

Cursed and Damned! What does it matter?!

Damn thee and curse thee

You cannot for I am beyond You!

Damn thee and curse thee

You have no power here! I am Rule!

Is it that

Yes! yes it is!

Mais my friend you are earthly

And what of it?!

I am of the spiritual realm. You have no power there

Oh no? I can!

Thy knife will not help thee

I shall transcend!

To keep you mortal. 'Tis all it will do

Oh Damn thee if i could!

I am Damned

As am I.

Let me help you

No! I don't want help of Your kind!

You shall see

I don't want to see! No I don't want to!

And we shall be one

No! Stop!

And i shall show You

No! I won't have it!

You want spiritual sense

I shall give it ti you

And i would like a body...

Author's Note

princessorianna
This poem is a dialouge between two spirits. The she spirit( italics) was damned for knowing the he spirit (bold) while she was alive. She has come to seek revenge on the he spirit who caused her death. The he spirit was damned to wander the earth forever, and anyone he came close to or who chose to become close to him would also be damned, only to die young and wander the spiritual realm, never having a home. The she spirit comes to the he spirit to inform him of her death. He wishes he could join the spiritual realm, and she wishes she had a body. He attempts to kill himself to join the spiritual realm, but knows that it will do nothing. He has become used to his wandering life, but is still unsettled. She attempts to cajole him into letting her have his body; therefore she does not have to wander. The poem is a battle, and the outcome is for the reader to decide...

Amazing! It was uniquely written and the dialog between the spirits was both powerful and strong.

Wow, this... is nice. Something like I've never read before.
It opened something in me deep as I read it, like my concious had had this exact conflict with another before. I like your writing, this one is much better than the other I had read before... even if it is angry.. I think you're very very gifted!
