Sweet Summertime

Sweet Summertime

A Poem by Smith So Soon
"

an ode to one of my favorite seasons... mainly beacuse school's out :)

"

A sweet breeze catches my hair

And manages to blow it everywhere.

I walk, I sit, I chill, I run

Basking all day in the sun.

Driving with the windows down

All over this tiny town.

My shoulders are light and my cares are free

I live like tomorrow is no guarantee.

I cling to the memories because each day has its number

But oh how I love, how I love the summer.

I like this poem, don't really like summer, but after this poem I'm going to give it another chance. It really reminds me of a summer day in my hometown.

This is short and sweet. Even if I didn't like summer, I can see what you appreciate about it. Good job.
