GiggleA Poem by bellaa
It starts somewhere in the deepening cavity of your stomach.
Erupting slowly like lava in a natural furnace- It drips, Enticingly through your lungs. It sleeks through your esophagus, Tickling quietly as you watch. Watching a boy with a big flower. He's coming to see you. He smiles as the substance digs Into the back of your mouth. You smile with all of your teeth, Wide, but not scary like jack-o-lanterns. You open your mouth to tell the boy Tell him your name. Or your favourite color. But the only thing that comes... Is that giggle that was waiting. Waiting for him, his smile. Or his eyes that dance giddily along the sidelines of reality. So you giggle and he smiles. The flower embraces your fingertip. Wilting slowly in the night. Laughter erupts at the monotony of certainty. Certainty of night, And wilting flowers. Certainty of the giggle that comes, And the laughter that follows.
