Hateful Man

Hateful Man

A Poem by Flutterbuns

hateful, jealous, bitter man

immature and quick to accuse

manipulative and weak

a man in the breaking

now it's war

now I speak my true and unadulterated opinion

(following your lead)

You are a man in the breaking

You will not see nor understand

until it is complete

and then, and only then

in the passing of time

will you see this with new eyes

and you will understand

the pain you have caused

and you will see

what you have toyed with and lost

and you will grieve and feel the shame

that all men do

when the scales fall from the eyes

and you will reach out

and I will forgive

and understand

it's already done, cause I already see it.

I love you for who you are.

Never, EVER speak against my service unto the Living God.

Break, you pathetic man.

I have been broken

for I am a pathetic wretch of a woman

who knows her own weakness

Break, you shell of a man

a man who I will never know.

This poem is full of nobility, bitterness and truth. I like the presentation of the verses, and the ideas put into simple words.

I think many women can relate to this piece; very few are satisfied with their men :| . You should have said something about their immense ego, as well.

Bravo!

I think I sense a little bitterness, but then the forgiving and at last the empathy, maybe I'm wrong though
I like this poem a lot, you'll give birth to wonderful writings within time

Keep writing, keep reading
